Mighty PR

San Francisco, California

Mighty PR is a San Francisco based public relations firm focused on creatively telling the stories of their impressive clientele. In turn, they required a space that conveys their unique story as an innovative and bold PR firm with a zeal for shaking things up.

Refined yet bold

The expansive conference room, painted in a dramatic teal, houses a twelve foot long matte white acrylic conference table and two oversized Noguchi pendants. The result is comfortable and refined space that makes a bold statement—this is not your ordinary conference room and not your typical PR firm!

The Details Matter

A striped drapery panel simply and effectively partitions the entry area and introduces our vivid palette of white, black and dark teal. The elegant fabric is suspended with industrial hardware and grounded by a substantial credenza with distinct lineal detailing.

The main lounge features a fully custom sectional built into a scenic corner of the office. Custom upholstered cushions in Mighty’s signature red, along with a plush rug and comfy floor cushions, make this the perfect retreat for long creative sessions and casual staff hangouts.

In the open work area, the custom desks were designed with a delicate X-base and teal stained oak tops. Special attention to furniture textures, patterns and finishes throughout the space creates an inviting sense of warmth and comfort.

Natural Materials

The office is situated at the edge of the city with sparkling views of the bay and ample natural light. This raw natural beauty is echoed in the use of simple and natural materials—white oak, Carrera marble, and rice paper lighting.

Sense of Place

Plants and trees were introduced to further connect the space to the sweet tree-lined streets of its surrounding neighborhood. The overall aesthetic is a blend of industrial urban cool and organic natural simplicity, reflecting the intersection of city and bay.

Our initial focus was to strip down the simple SOMA office space to reveal beautiful raw concrete floors and emphasize serene views of the bay. We kept the 2,400 sq.ft. space open and airy with crisp white walls throughout the communal areas providing a simple, refined canvas for unique design choices and bold commentary.
